If We Save Tuvalu, We Save The World

If We Save Tuvalu, We Save The World

It’s not fiction—it’s fact: Tuvalu is sinking.

The impacts of climate change—rising sea levels and extreme weather—are threatening Tuvalu’s security, culture, and very survival.

In a revealing interview, Tuvalu’s Prime Minister at the time, Enele Sopoaga, reflects on the fate of his small island nation. Tuvalu, a remote Pacific atoll, stands on the front lines of the climate crisis—among the first nations on Earth at risk of losing its homeland to the sea.

If the global community can unite to limit global warming to 1.5°C or less, these islands may remain habitable. Saving Tuvalu would mark a crucial step forward in protecting our planet and securing a sustainable future for all.
